Tomasz Szadkowski
" Imprinting is a form of learning wherein a very young animal fixes its attention on the first object with which it has a visual, auditory or tactile experience and thereafter follows that object “person, bird, mammal”. In nature this object is almost always a parent. Imprinting has been studied extensively only in birds but apparently comparable behavior happens also in mammals.
In this body of work I endeavor to understand the presence of various stages and forms of imprinting. I am interested in the physical, mental and emotional manifestations of imprinting on people and their surroundings. The cause and effect of objects and individuals on their world, their memory, their id. "
