David Gillanders at the Méridien Versailles

From September 9 to December 6, 2009, Le Méridien Versailles-Montréal, as part of its on-going exhibition programme, is presenting Saugeen Land / Les terres des Saugeen, a series of 19 paintings by Toronto-born artist David Gillanders. The paintings comprising this body of work are highly abstracted versions of views captured through the lens of a video camera slowly moving through a small woodlot in the forest of the Saugeen First Nation, Ontario.
